once you receive unscrew wooden cap and carefully remove plastic stopper (Dispose) than screw wooden cap back on, hang from rear view mirror and Gently tip it over to saturate wooden Cap in oil, do not hold upside down it will spill out, always be careful when refreshing the wooden cap because if it is over saturated it will spill out and drip in your car, if this oil gets on plastic or paint it CAN cause it to spill. when using in hot temps, the oil will get thinner thus likely can spill out easier , SO always be careful.
